An All-on-4® restoration is an excellent option for those looking to replace their current dental structure with a complete set of new teeth. It is often more comfortable, and it can also increase the confidence level of those receiving them. If you consider getting this type of restoration, it’s important to understand how the process works and what may be involved. While it is often an ideal option for many, there are things to consider before moving forward in the procedure.
This is a specific restoration that replaces both the upper and bottom teeth of the patient. This is typically an outpatient procedure that involves removing teeth, occasional bone grafting, and putting the replacement bridge. This can be a great alternative to other restoration methods, as you can expect the teeth to stay put and mimic your natural smile. If needed, the abutment will be placed, impressions will be made, and you will be able to choose your new smile!
